 Greetings

I Greet You in the Joy of the Lord!

The Sons of Allen have experienced the awesomeness of God as we have worked and have been give opportunities to connect across the conference to make a positive difference.  There continues to be a steady growth of persons actively engaged in the Local, District and Conference mission.  Members of the Sons of Allen have brought an appreciation for the wonderful character and attributes of our God, His holiness, righteousness, mercy, grace and love.

The good we do as a group helps to blaze trails toward effective outreach ministry.Where there is effective outreach, that suggests that we must “step outside of the box", in order to find effective ways of addressing the needs of our people and our communities.  The Sons of Allen have extended their work into our communities doing ministry that is relevant, effective, and according to the Will of God.

Sometimes in our hurried and often frantic practice of implementing change, it is possible to be distracted or miss the heart of how to make everything happen and still get our work done.  However, if we focus on trusting and depending on each other more and make concerted efforts to involve everyone, the task at hand  becomes easier.

We may consider lifting up and utilizing the gifts and talents of all our brothers. Romans 12:6 says, “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them." (KJV)

To all members of the Sons of Allen, Episcopal leaders, and Laity, thank you for your prayers, and your generosity through your time and talent.

Yours in the Brotherhood

Bro. Laval Oxendine

Columbia Conference President
